Kavanati — Terms of Use

Kavanati is a free beta. Use it on your own devices, review important text before sending, and note it is provided as-is during the beta.

By installing or using Kavanati ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. What Kavanati is

A free desktop utility (Windows + macOS) that corrects text typed in the wrong keyboard language (Hebrew ↔ English), currently offered as a free beta.

2. Licence

A free, personal, non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or misrepresent the app as your own.

3. Beta software

The app is under active development; it may contain bugs, may change, may occasionally mis-correct text, and may be discontinued. You are responsible for reviewing important text before you send or submit it.

4. Provided "AS IS"

The app is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data/text/profits/business. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to what you paid (zero, for the free beta).

6. Acceptable use

No unlawful use; no intercepting or misusing others' data; no reverse engineering except where that restriction is legally prohibited; do not remove notices.

7. System permissions

macOS requires Accessibility + Input Monitoring permissions; on Windows the app observes keyboard input. You can revoke these in your OS settings at any time.

8. Privacy

Use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The app, the name "Kavanati" (כוונתי), the logo, and all content are owned by Engineering & Development Services (שירותי הנדסה ופיתוח, business no. 056665227) and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

10. Future paid features

A future paid "Pro" tier will have its own purchase terms shown before you pay; the core app remains free during the beta.

11. Termination

You may uninstall at any time; we may end the free offering or these terms at any time. Sections 4, 5 and 9 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and Israeli courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

The current version of these terms is always on this page, with the "Last updated" date above.
